Labs - The Possible

Our Labs was developed based on U-Theory methodology created in MIT University.

The Possible Labs are a systemic approach to renewal that puts impact entrepreneurs at the forefront of rebuilding their communities.

Focused on places in Ukraine significantly and adversely affected by the escalated invasion — ranging from places under pressure from rapid migration, from intensive shelling or that have been recently liberated.

The Labs bring together often ‘unlikely allies’ from the mayor and public officials to micro-entrepreneurs, community leaders and social investors and build a shared vision together.

The Possible Labs are a systemic approach to renewal that puts impact entrepreneurs at the forefront of rebuilding their communities.  The Possible Labs are focused on places in Ukraine significantly and adversely affected by the escalated invasion - ranging from places under pressure from rapid migration, from intensive shelling or that have been recently liberated.

The Labs are places where impact entrepreneurs come together with Alliance partners to learn, brainstorm and develop prototypes for fast, impactful civic action, with the overall aim to renew and rebuild areas affected by war.

A co-design process involving diverse local stakeholders generates a ‘Blueprint’ - this acts as a mandate for action and helps unlock finance and resources.

Impact-driven entrepreneurs, in collaboration with the local government, move quickly to test ideas and generate learning.

Following the proof of concept from the prototypes, a collective investment prospectus helps attract the capital and resources for implementing the vision and enterprises in the blueprint at scale.

The pilot was launched in Voznesensk, a city in the Mykolaiv region that saw violent battles in early 2022 and remains close to the frontline today.
